Project Overview

Modern Day Witch Hunt Research Project

Witch Hunt: the persecution of a person or group holding unorthodox or unpopular views.  A situation of wrongful accusation or scapegoating based on little or irrelevant evidence.

Objectives:

  • Research an event from American history or modern American Society that is connected to one or two of the themes presented by Arthur Miller in The Crucible.
  • Present your understanding of the event and the underlying issue 

Procedure:

     1. Peruse the LibGuide and decide on a topic of interest.  
     2. Research your topic 
     3. Create a powerpoint using Office 365
     4. Present your findings to the class (Dec 12 and Dec 13)

 

Important Dates

  • Projects Due December 9th
  • Presentations December 10th & 11th
